EDF Villarodin Hydroelectric Power Plant

ADC was mandated by ANDRITZ HYDRO SA for the design and production of heavy handling equipment for the EDF Villarodin hydroelectric power station, used for periodic visits as well as the replacement of PELTON wheels and wheel injectors in the turbine wells:

The main lifting table, dimensions 4.20 m × 4.00 m, with a capacity of 22.5 t over a stroke of 2.05 m, translates on parallel rails to the inside of the turbine frame, a second set of wheels allows passage rails parallel to a circular monorail. The table can then turn on itself to access the different injectors.

The injectors are then transferred to an auxiliary table measuring 4.00 m × 2.80 m, capacity 7.7 t, stroke 1.40 m for evacuation to the access tunnel.
