Overhead cranes and Semi-gantry-cranes for SNCF (railways)

Ponts roulants et semi-portiques

Equipement of the SNCF site of Chambly (F-60)

Following the Brétigny-sur-Orge disaster in 2013, SNCF made the decision to modernize its facilities in order to replace rail sections and switches more quickly and easily. They have set up the VIGIRAIL plan, which aims to renew 300 to 500 rail switches every year.
The SNCF workshop in Moulin-Neuf, Chambly (60) is the largest rail switches manufacturing site in France. SNCF therefore had to invest in the site to enable itself to produce more switches and adapt to new technologies.

Technical collaboration

Initially, ADC and SNCF collaborated technically to define the best adapted specifications to their constraints. These exchanges also allowed us to consolidate our position with SNCF and SYSTRA, a consulting and engineering group for urban/rail public transport systems.

A beautiful project

The tender was launched in June 2016, and we got the order in August.

The delivery, installation and commissioning of the equipment, namely two double girder cranes with a capacity of 25 tonnes and six semi-gantries with a capacity of 4 tonnes, were successfully completed at the end of June 2017.
