  • 1919
    Established by Maurice Bernard, Mechanical engineer, the company was initially an ironwork company that evolved quickly to the locksmith and steelwork.
  • 1929-1945
    Development of the metal construction activity towards the market of buildings for agricultural and industrial use.
    The company is gradually becoming the Ateliers De la Chaînette.
  • 1946-1965
    Under the direction of the founder's son, who is also an A & C engineer, the company continues to develop and diversify itself and, in 1962, creates a small subsidiary, half owned by SAF (Soudure Autogène Française) and Ateliers De La Chaînette, whose vocation is the study and realization of welding machines and oxycutting.
    This activity will continue before being abandoned in the late 1980s.

    Ateliers De la Chaînette also build their first lifting equipment.
  • 1966-1975
    The steelworks activity ranks the company among the major regional companies (production of 12 to 15,000 tonnes per year).

    The company realizes its second diversification by starting fabricating lifting equipment. At the end of these ten years, it takes a place among the ten national companies of this field.
  • 1985
    ADC (Ateliers De La Chaînette) joins the FAYAT Group. Under the impetus of a new Management, the company resumes its activity while carrying out a modernization of its facilities and quickly becomes one of the first French manufacturers of lifting equipment.
  • 1990
    Diversification of our know-how and international development.
  • Since 1990
    Customer Service development and continued export growth.
  • 1995
    ADC obtains the certification of its quality management system, according to the ISO 9001 standard.

    The involvement of all employees in this process has since allowed us to renew this certification while adapting to each new version.
  • 2003
    The commercial and administrative forces of SECMI, FAMALEV, COMETE, SODISTAL, having joined the FAYAT Group, are directly linked to ADC.
  • 2018
    ADC wishes to give a new impetus to its development by basing itself on two major axes: the search for new international partners and the reinforcement of its services offer on the French territory to offer its customers always more comfort of use of their equipment.
  • 2019
    The company celebrates 100 years of existence.
